Course Description
Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in AUTO 103. This class covers theory, operation, diagnostics, and repair of car/light truck heating and cooling systems. Topics include: R134a and future refrigerants, reclaiming and recycling of these refrigerants. Engine cooling and cabin heating component operation is also covered. Proper service procedures and component replacement is covered in detail. Electrical system component operation, sensors and blower motor controls are discussed. [Semesters Offered: Fall]
