Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in ENGL 115 or satisfactory test score, concurrent enrollment allowed. Designed to acquaint the student with the basic structure of medical terms (including prefixes, suffixes, roots, and their combining forms and plurals). Proper pronunciation, spelling, definition of medical terms and building a professional medical vocabulary is emphasized. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer]
