Course Description
Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C in NURS 178, NURS 186, NURS 194, and NURS 228; concurrent enrollment in NURS 228 allowed; minimum grade of C in NURS 204, concurrent enrollment allowed. Minimum grade of PC (pass) required in two clinical courses, NURS 187 and NURS 195. This course offers hands-on, practical application of the knowledge and skills acquired in NURS 204, focusing on the nurse's role in the obstetrical and newborn care within a culturally diverse population. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer]
