Course Description
Prerequisites: Minimum grade of C in NURS 178, NURS 186, NURS 187, NURS 194, and NURS 195; minimum grade of C in NURS 228, concurrent enrollment allowed. This course is designed to focus on the theoretical application of identifying and meeting the intermediate nursing care needs of complex and/or chronic adult medical-surgical clients with varied backgrounds and perspectives. Emphasis is placed on client-centered care, evidence-based practice and informatics, safety, teamwork and collaboration, and professionalism. [Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring]
